Frame Making
An important part of my photographic practice is the framing. By making frames myself I am able to extend the work out of the photo onto the frame.
This was of particular importance for my project ‘In Frame:’ where I continued the co-design process into frame making. Getting each participant to create one of their own frames.
Prop & Costume
Inspired by the tales of King Arthur this prop and costume group project consists of three items. Chainmail headpiece - designed and fabricated by me (including the making of custom sized jump rings). Shield - wooden body, strapping and resin gem insert, designed and fabricated by me. Carved front panel and mask designed and carved by co-designer.
Ascii Camera
Using Processing, a creative coding platform, I created a program that runs through the users web camera to create an Ascii representation of the camera capture.
